To be eligible for the Governor’s program to Hire Veterans with Disabilities (55-c Program), you must:

• Meet one of the following requirements:
  • Have received a Purple Heart; or
  • Have a service-connected disability rating of at least 10 percent from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
• A disability certification letter from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs may be required
