Governor Cuomo created the Nonprofit Coordination Unit in 2014 to enhance the relationship between New York State government and nonprofit organizations. The Unit works collaboratively with State agencies and nonprofit organizations to make it easier for nonprofits to do business with State government.

$100 Million Infrastructure Grant
The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York has released a $100 million RFA for the Nonprofit Infrastructure Capital Investment Program. This funding will improve the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of nonprofit human services in New York State.
Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative
Modeled on the Rochester Anti-Poverty Task Force, the initiative will bring together state and local governments, non-profits, and community groups to design and implement coordinated solutions to address poverty in sixteen municipalities throughout New York State.
