Preventing Hate Crimes and Boosting Security Hate Has No Home Here

Hate has no place in our state. Governor Hochul continues to do whatever it takes to keep New Yorkers safe from baseless violence that stems from prejudice.

Historic investments have been made to strengthen safety and security measures at nonprofit, community-based organizations at risk of hate crimes or attacks because of their ideology, beliefs, or mission.

If you have experienced bias-motivated threats, harassment or discrimination, call the toll-free hotline 844-NO-2-HATE or text "HATE" to 81336 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. If you need to report a crime or fear your safety, call 911 immediately.
