If you are using a desktop or laptop and would like to translate website content into a different language, please access your browser’s settings. Directions on how to change your preferred language using the four main browsers are below.
If you are using a mobile device, you can change the default language in your device’s settings.
Chrome:
- Open Chrome.
- Click on the three dots on the far top right.
- Choose Settings.
- Click Advanced, then click Languages.
- Click on Languages to expand the setting. Once the setting expands, click on the three dots next to your preferred language (or, you may need to add a language), and then tick the checkbox next to Display Google Chrome in This Language.
Safari:
- Open Safari.
- Click on the apple icon at the top left.
- Choose System Preferences.
- Double click Language & Region.
- Under Preferred Languages, add your preferred language.
- After you add a language, you will be asked if you like to use this language as your primary language. Choose the language you would like to use.
- You may need to restart Safari for the changes to take place.
Edge:
- Open Edge.
- Click on the three dots on the far top right.
- Choose Settings.
- Click Languages.
- Click Add Languages and add your language.
- On your language, click the three dots and choose Move to the Top, and check Offer to translate pages in this language.
Firefox:
- Open Firefox.
- Click on the three lines on the far top right.
- Choose Preferences.
- In the Language section of the General panel, choose a language in the drop-down menu.
- Choose your preferred language for displaying pages.
- You may need to restart Firefox for the change to take place.
