$15 Million Available for Homeowners Impacted by Flooding

Governor Cuomo announced $15 million in state funding to assist homeowners that have been impacted by flooding along Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River.

Overview

New York State Homes and Community Renewal has made available up to $15 million in state funding for homeowners along Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River in the aftermath of the extreme weather and severe flooding in the region. The new investment program provides up to $50,000 for homeowners to support repairs to and restoration of structures, equipment, and other physical damage.

The deadline for homeowner applications was September 29, 2017. Homeowners wishing to appeal a determination regarding eligibility should e-mail [email protected].
