WHO: State officials including Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul and members of the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services’ Office of Fire Prevention and Control will preside over the 20th annual New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony.
WHAT: The 20th annual New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony will take place at the memorial site on the Empire State Plaza in Albany. State officials will honor 118 firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty.
WHERE: Empire State Plaza Convention Center, Albany, N.Y. (Event moved indoors due to forecast of inclement weather)
WHEN: Tuesday, October 10, 2017, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
