You have an important role in protecting New York’s workers from exploitation. The transactions a consumer has are not just economic, but also moral. Ask your landscaper, nail salon workers, cleaning companies these questions:

  • Are you being paid pursuant to the wage and hour laws of the State of New York?
  • Are you being paid minimum wage?
  • Are you being paid overtime?
  • Do you have vacation time?
  • Are you being treated fairly with dignity and within the bounds of the law?
