Internship Title: EIT Accessibility Support Intern
Length of Internship: 5-10 hours a week, 20 weeks
Intern Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for assisting the CIO of UCAWD, as EOC websites move towards compliance with recently enacted state and federal laws pertaining to accessibility. Based upon a recent audit of the EOC websites, the intern will help the centers with implementing the changes. Additional duties may include accessibility review of other pertinent documents.
Required Skills
- Experience with technology
- Working knowledge of website accessibility
Technology Requirements: SUNY System will work with our internal IT and Facilities staff to secure a laptop and workspace.
Travel Requirements: No travel is anticipated for this internship.
