childhealthplus.jpg Early this year, Governor Spitzer proposed that Child Heath Plus, a health insurance program for children under 18, be expanded to include all of New York's 400,000 uninsured children. Under Child Health Plus, annual trips to the doctor, including annual check-ups, immunizations, and early development screening are all covered for children in families earning up to $51,000. This is the first step in Governor Spitzer's plan to expand access to affordable health insurance for all New Yorkers. To learn more about how to sign up your child, please click here.
